How it all went: Barcelona Open Meeting and Design Review
First of all, on behalf of the whole HATCH team, we want to thank everyone who participated in the Barcelona Open Meeting personally or remotely. It was a pleasure to show you what we’ve done, what’s in progress and what we expect to do. But the most valuable outcome of this meeting was your feedback, which we all appreciate and took into account.
We were grateful for the demonstrations and explanations of the testing methodologies. Our colleague Alex from Eurecat showed us the very simple and modern “lie detector application”, which in our case helps evaluate the outcomes of the design and usability tasks. We also heard what we all hoped to hear: that we are on the right track. The tests proved that stakeholders, represented by different User Persona groups, provided positive feedback on the first HATCH design. Read more about the test results and design.
Our colleague Jorgina from Eurecat also prepared an activity that allowed us to find out even more about future HATCH users. We are going to take all this input into account in our future work.
After all the formal work, discussions and presentations, it was a great opportunity for all of us to meet. Such meetings definitely improve our communication and collaboration within the project.
